Every year for my son’s birthday I am asked to make his favorite chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and chocolate frosting. And every year I am happy to oblige. He doesn’t know it but I secretly love the fact that he prefers my homade cake rather than some store bought confection disaster. I have made this same cake I got from one of my many cooking magazines for the last few years and I think I have finally perfected the recipe. It is super moist and delicious. I can’t wait to make it again!
